Founded on 20th August 2002, Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) is entirely owned by Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA). It consists of 13 branch institutes. This multi-campus technical university holds the approval of the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia called the Kementerian Pendidikan Tinggi. It is also accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).
